Du Pont has an opening position of Quality Technician based in Reynosa, MX. The Quality Technician assures the Quality of Du Pont products by performing visual inspection equipment to ensure it meets customer specific requirments and prioritizes and schedules Quality department inspection and testing functions.
Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:
Schedule and prioritize all work in the Quality department for inspection and testing functions.
Conduct periodic process and product audits as assigned.
Participate on product development teams.
Provide training for Quality Control Technicians in Laird products and quality processes.
Perform final visual inspection of product to ensure conformance to electrical and mechanical drawings.
Load product software, tune and perform final testing of highly complex products ensuring compliance to customer specific specifications and documents results.
Investigate and process quality problems to aid in their thorough resolution.
Interpret internal and customer specifications to determine acceptable from rejectable products, and provide guidance for manufacturing personal on the interpretation of product quality standards.
Perform Receiving Inspection on vendor product to verify conformance to Laird standards. Communicate with vendors concerning quality issues if required.
Assist Quality Assurance Engineers and Manager as required.
Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree from a two year technical school or equivalent
Certificaiton as a CQE, CQT or CQA preferred.
Minimum 6 years Quality experience in manufacturing.
Knowledge of ISO 9001/ IATF 16949
and other related quality system standards. Quality System Knowledge with background in APQP, DFMEA/PFMEA and PPAP preferred.
Ability to read and interpret schmatics and blueprints with close attention to detail.
Ability to use electronic test equipment including network analyzer, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer/communication test set, watt meter and voltmeter/multimeter.
Ability to read and interpret ladder logic diagrams
Computer skills including spreadsheet, word processing, and database management software
Data analysis skills and problem solving skills consistent with 8-Discipline technique
Good written and oral communication skills
Advanced English writing/spoken
Good interpersonal and organizational skills
Background in RF and or Electrical field preferred
Fundamental knowledge of mathematical concepts
