• Leads quality programs in areas related to design:

o Quality assurance for the introduction and transfers of new products
and processes.
o Quality assurance during the implementation of changes to products or
processes, both temporary and permanent.

• Leads quality programs for suppliers:

o Management of raw material inspection plans.
o Inspection and testing of products supplied by suppliers.
o Maintaining records of inspection and testing of product supplied by
suppliers.
o Administration of reduced reduction programs (e.g., DTS -
dock-to-stock, skip lot, sampling plans).
o Management of the NCR (non-conforming reports) process, including
identification, segregation, evaluation, disposition and immediate actions,
including RTV (return to vendor) applied to supplier-supplied non-conforming
product.
o Management of the supplier complaint generation program, including
initial communication and follow-up necessary to ensure the issue is contained,
analyzed AND corrected on an ongoing basis.
o Contribute to the review and approval of supplier requests for changes
or deviations.
o Management of supplier quality measurement process.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or at least 10 years of demonstrated

equivalent experience in related disciplines.

• 10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• 5 years of experience in “decision making” positions.
• Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement activities (e.g.,

Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, RCA, 8D).

• Demonstrated experience in team management.
• Experience in quantitative methods and tools (e.g., SPC, process

capability, statistical inference, design of experiments).

• Experience in product and process design (e.g., APQP, PPAP, CTQ,

technical drawings and specifications, verification/validation, reliability).

• Product and process control experience (e.g., traceability, MRB,

sampling, measuring equipment, MSA, metrology, NDT).

• Experience in quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, IATF16949,

ISO13485, ISO9001).

• Risk management experience in industrial environments (e.g., SWAT,

FMEA, FRACAS).

• Experience with industrial application software (e.g., ERP, PDM, CRM,

EQMS, Mini Tab).

• Effective communication skills (oral and written) in both English and

Spanish.

• Effective conflict management skills.
