Product Manager for Financial Services

The Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to be part of this amazing and fast – growing fintech. You will be part of a team that is enabling our customers to be better integrated into the financial landscape in Mexico, working on the wallet experience we recently launched. You will lead, define, prioritize, build and deploy new products and features that directly impact our ability to serve our newest and fastest growing product lines. You should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. This candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish and be willing to continue learning about the company.

What will I be doing?

Define product vision with company leaders and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.

Setting product roadmap, priorities, metrics, and lead product execution to launch category-defining solutions.

Build creative, design-forward, customer-centric products, that are highly complex underneath, yet simple and elegant to use for less tech-savvy users.

Lead team to build world-class customer experiences that drive key business metrics.

Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of goals and resources.

Stay updated on market trends and the competitive landscape to inform the team of new ideas and changing business priorities.

Establish culture and process for the team to focus on understanding and meeting customer needs through product usage metrics, customer feedback, and insights from the support teams.

Implement best-in-class product development and management practices

Ideal Candidate

Experience in these areas a plus: fintech, consumer/business web/mobile applications wallets/banking, online payments.

Advocate for the best end-to-end experience that balances the desires from many inputs including design, user-experience, marketing and operations.

Understanding of web tracking methods and reporting tools.

Knowledge of Agile product development methodologies.

Strong entrepreneurial drive and ability to thrive in a start-up environment.

Comfortable with getting insights from sometimes incomplete data and metrics to support prioritizations & decisions. Pivot tables, A/B test significance, basic SQL should be things you are familiar with.

Excellent communication skills in a cross-border/language environment (often with remote team members).

Ability to work collaboratively but also autonomously when needed.

3 - 5+ years Product Management.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or engineering field.
