MRP Buyer (Florido)

We are looking for an experienced purchasing professional to join our team who will be responsible for ensuring Purchase materials and services, obtaining maximum value in terms of price, quality, and delivery. Plan material flow to ensure minimum investment while ensuring high levels of support to achieve plant goals and support strategies related to plant operations.
1 Participate in the implementation of purchasing strategies to support production schedules while controlling costs.
2 Communicate material quality and delivery change requirements to suppliers in an MRP environment.
3 Drive plans to obtain department and division cost improvements and objectives.
4 Participate in problem-solving efforts to resolve rejections, supplier corrective actions and receiving paperwork issues.
5 Coordinate material requirements with production schedules, customer requirements and provide feedback to scheduling and management as required.
6 Participate in supplier reduction program.
7 Engage in continuous improvement activities.
8 Proactively resolve supplier invoicing issues.
9 Attend daily production meeting to provide material parts status.
10 Create RFQ’s and place purchase orders to support material demand requirements.
11 React to MRP messages to ensure material supply is aligned to system demand.
12 Proactively resolve Supplier quality issues that may arise.
13 Prepare material status sheets, milestones, schedules and presentations as required to support new program meetings.
Requirements
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: 5 years minimum experience in similar role preferred.
Language: Advanced (Reading and Writing that allow to communicate and make full presentations). (MUST)
Knowledge/Competences required:
-Strong analytical skills and good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills to communicate to all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in collection, analysis, and presentation of data.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office applications Word, Excel, Power Point.
Desired abilities Ability decision-making, flexibility, planning and organizing, self-initiative and interpersonal skills are needed.
