RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers who can provide the necessary materials, components, or services for the new product. This involves negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining relationships.
- Analyzing costs associated with procuring materials and negotiating pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and favorable terms for the company.
- Collaborating with various internal teams such as engineering, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure a smooth transition from product development to production.
- Coordinating timelines, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- dentifying potential risks in the supply chain that could impact the introduction of the new product and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Ensuring that the materials or components procured meet the required quality standards and specifications for the new product.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining accurate documentation related to procurement activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 5- years of experience in procurement field.
- Prior experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment, is highly beneficial.
- Experience in supporting new product introductions or working closely with product development teams is advantageous.
