Your role as a n Alteryx Administrator will focus on administering our Alteryx Non Prod and Prod environments, focusing on automation, security and performance optimization. You will commit to personal learning and development by actively seeking opportunities for growth; you will share knowledge and experience with others.
To fulfill this role, you will have to be able to:
- Manage users, groups, connections, data sources, promote workflows to production environment s.
- Take care of the Alteryx embedded databases and ensure that backup/recovery procedures are working properly.
- Create workflows to automate administration tasks .
- T roubleshoot performance issues and propose enhancements.
- A ssist Squad leaders in Solution specific customizations.
- Take care of security according to company standards and policies.
- Onboard new applications to the Platform.
- Monitor performance and advise any necessary infrastructure changes based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Have k nowledge of database or application administration discipline
- Have a plan in administering Alteryx with automation in mind. Understand solution architecture patterns and make platform enhancements to support those .
Additional soft skills required:
- Familiarity with insurance industry business processes
- Confidence in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed .
- Strong motivation
- Organizational skills, resourcefulness, and creativity
- Being team working oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Fluency in English
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- A Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field
- Preferably, 4+ years' hands-on experience with Alteryx Server and Designer. Alternatively, engineers with experience in administering similar Azure windows based application software like Trifacta, Dataiku, etc. may also apply.
- Hands-on experience and skills in Linux, Windows Server Administration
- Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google – Azure preferred)
- Practical knowledge relational and non-relational database administration
- Experience working in an agile way with Jira and Service now.
- Proven analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Alteryx certifications highly appreciated. Experience in change Management
