About the Job We are seeking a highly skilled AOI Engineer with extensive experience in vision systems, e.g. Keyence and Cognex, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in image-processing libraries such as Open CV and Halcon. This role requires proficiency in 2D/3D vision applications, vision system design, integration, testing and validation, and failure analysis. Job Responsibilities · Develop and implement automated optical inspection solutions using e.g. Keyence and Cognex vision systems. · Utilize image processing libraries, including Open CV and Falcon, to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency. · Design, implement and optimize 2D/3D vision applications for various inspection tasks. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AOI systems into production lines and workflows. · Conduct test and validation process to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of AOI systems. · Perform failure analysis to identify root causes of inspection errors and implement corrective actions. · Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in vision systems technology to continuously improve inspection processes. Education and Experience · Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. · Proven experience in developing and deploying AOI solutions using e.g. Keyence and Cognex vision systems. · In-depth knowledge of image processing techniques and libraries, such as Open CV and Falcon. · Proficiency in 2D/3D vision application development and optimization, e.g. Position Correction, Inspection of PIN, TIM/RTV and Lubrication. · Strong understanding of system design principles and best practices. · Experience with validation procedures and failure analysis in AOI systems. · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: · Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. · Training/Certification in AOI system. · Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automated optical inspection. · Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
