TECHNICIAN
- Maintain safe working condition all power distribution and electrical / mechanical systems.
- To be good skills in, Rough & Finish carpentry, Laminate, Dry wall, Taping, Floating, Tile (ceramic, quarry, VCT, marble), Wall vinyl, Carpet, Furniture maintenance, repair and touch up, Painting and varnishing
- Being an independent technician, be able to analyze problems and to formulate plans to get work done quickly including procurement of material, parts, schedule work arrangements, with some degree of quality.
- Able to trouble shoot electrical / mechanical equipments throughout the Hotel facilities.
- Able to read electrical schematics and blue prints.
- Perform shift duty as and when required by the department.
- Energy conservation – observes and carries out energy conservation efforts and utilities usage in the Hotel as instructed by the Chief Engineer. To look and propose ways to conserve energy and discuss idea with the Chief Engineer.
- Clean lubricate, protect and maintain all tools and equipment in the Hotel. To see that all tools used are returned to the shop and secured in proper storage area.
- Be aware of all existing departmental Job Safety Measure and Procedure and to strive to work in an accident free and safe working environment.
- Complete all work assigned in a safe and professional manner. Maintain communications with supervisors to ensure that all needed materials, tools and supplies are available or in order.
- To participate in training and assist other associates by sharing knowledge and skills with them for their future development.
- Possibly lead or facilitate the transfer of information regarding priorities, assignments and problem solving at the various briefing sessions each day.
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From RM1,500.00 per month
