Tax Accountant
Scope of Responsibilities:
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
- This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
- Responsible for the preparation of Tax Provisions and Forecasts for the Group.
- Accurate and timely submission of Tax Returns, including Corporate Tax, and other relevant taxes for the Group.
- Responsible for handling indirect taxes (e.g. SST).
- Monitor and assess changes in Malaysian Tax Laws and Regulations.
- Identify and manage Tax Risks to minimize exposure and ensure compliance with Malaysian Tax Laws and Regulations.
- Provide advice on tax considerations across different countries.
- Manage tax documentation and record keeping, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Support organizations in dealing with tax audits and assistance with deferred tax.
- Manage the Group's transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance from a transfer pricing perspective.
- Ad-hoc projects such as tax incentives and exemptions, e-invoicing implementation, service tax issues, etc
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
- Degree in Accountancy or Professional Qualifications in ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in Taxation, preferably in the MANUFACTURING industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Tax Laws, Regulations and Compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy in MS Office.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
