OPTOMETRIST

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to manage daily clinic flow.
  • Provide ocular health assessment with the ability to assess patients needs, meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Handling all diagnostic tools/equipment, analyzing test results, and recommending proper eye care treatment.
  • Provide patient counseling on all aspects of eye health care including pre and post-operation care.
  • Handling patients queries and complaints.
  • Assist Doctor in Minor Procedure or in Operation Theatre.
  • Orientate, supervise, and train new employees and or optometry students.
  • Involve in problem-solving, decision making, assist in and emergency procedures.
  • Other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualification and experience:
  • At least possess a Bachelor in Optometry.
  • At least one year of related experience required.
Skills:
  • Computer literate.
  • Abel to conduct retinoscopy and subjective refraction within 20 minutes.
  • Good team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent in decision making to evaluate various diagnostic test results
  • Critical thinking to ensure that patients receive appropriate treatment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
