Perform in-depth analysis and review on the demand forecast and the material requirement against current or past historical usage.
Perform SWR (Special Work Request) forecast
Manage and review ROP (Reorder Planning) on min and max stocks requirement based on the demand trend to ensure the correct configuration of the material requirement.
Accountable to ensure the releasing of material forecast and buy-plan to suppliers.
Execute inventory control plan and monitoring to ensure healthy safety stock level to support production.
Serve as liaison between Management, Production, Logistics, Stockroom, and Suppliers
Work and maintain the open communication with Suppliers, Manufacturing and others functional support group to insure manufacturing activities and inventory plan are fulfill/expedite such as on time delivery, changes of the production requirement, company target, and etc.
Execute return and replacement of quality/defect shipment to Suppliers.
Execute expired/reject material disposition accordingly to the disposition procedure to ensure goals are met
Prepare and provide various analytical MRP reports and review with Client at planned interval basis.
Accountable to meet the MRP performance KPI such as inventory holding and turns, NIL lines down/ ESD impact, and scrap cost per goal set.
REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree holder in Logistics/Warehouse Management/ Supply Chain or equivalent.
Shall have at least a minimum 2-3 years of working direct experience in material planning within an electronic manufacturing environment.
Must possess solid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capacities.
Technically competent with various software programs (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point). SAP knowledge is an advantage.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain corporation.
Willing to work in a 5.5-day work week environment. Change to 5 day work week upon completion of probation.
