GELANG PATAH, JOHOR – 2 POSITIONS POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry to join our team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in a competitive market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in FMCG sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends. KEY RESPONSIBITIES To develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the FMCG sector. To identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying leads, and cold calling potential clients. To build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and retailers to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction. To conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for product development or improvement. To collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, product launches, and pricing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness. To prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track performance, analyse sales data, and identify areas for improvement. To negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale with customers and distributors to maximize profitability and maintain competitiveness in the market. To monitor inventory levels and product availability to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment of customer orders. To stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes affecting the FMCG sector. To represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase products, network with potential clients, and promote brand visibility. REQUIREMENTS Minimum Diploma/Degree preferably in Business related studies Must have proven track record of success in sales roles, preferably within the FMCG industry. Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices in the FMCG sector. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
