Job Overview: The Finance Manager will play a critical role in managing the financial health and operations of the company. This position will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial activities, including treasury management, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, and accounting oversight. The ideal candidate will ensure that the organization’s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations, support strategic decision-making, and help drive overall business growth. Key Responsibilities: Treasury Management: To oversee the company’s treasury operations, ensuring effective cash flow management and optimizing the use of working capital. To manage banking relationships, including negotiating financing terms, and ensuring the availability of funding for operational and capital needs. To monitor and manage foreign exchange exposure, debt levels, and interest rate risks. To forecast and monitor short- and long-term liquidity to ensure adequate cash reserves. To evaluate investment options for surplus cash and maintain an appropriate balance between liquidity and return on investment. Cash Flow Planning & Budgeting: To develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, ensuring the availability of funds to meet business needs. To lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic financial plans. To monitor budgetary performance and provide analysis of variances between actual results and budgeted figures. To prepare rolling forecasts and update financial projections based on changes in business conditions. To implement cost control measures to enhance profitability and manage operational expenses effectively. Financial Reporting & Accounting Oversight: To oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and adherence to accounting standards. To prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, for management and stakeholders. To ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of financial accounts and the integrity of financial information. To support external audits and manage the preparation of audit materials. To ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and laws, including tax compliance and reporting obligations. Leadership & Strategy: To lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. To collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support decision-making on strategic initiatives. To drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. To support the implementation of financial systems, tools, and controls to enhance reporting and governance. To provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including capital expenditure and expansion projects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred. At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role. Experience in a Manufacturing environment, preferably within the Food Products Manufacturing Environment. Proven track record in managing a centralized finance and accounting team serving multiple international entities. Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial compliance in various jurisdictions. Hands-on experience with financial systems implementation and process optimization. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity, with a proactive and results-driven approach. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in financial management software and tools. A continuous learning mindset, with the willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge.
