Housekeeping Manager
- Perform daily inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure the best possible service
- Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily
- Establish and enforce high cleanliness and hygiene standards for guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
- Assign specific duties to housekeeping staff, including room cleaning, laundry services, and public area maintenance.
- Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
- Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make
- Recruit, hire and train new housekeeping associates
- Ensure the availability of materials and equipment
- Perform staff reviews and encourage teamwork among staff
- Resolve customer problems and complaints
- Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management or equivalent.
- 2-3 years relevant working experience, preferably in hospital environment at supervisory level.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
