Electrical & Automation Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Electrical Systems Installation: Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and components in compliance with electrical codes and standards.
- Automation Systems: Install, configure, and maintain automation equipment, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), sensors, and actuators.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical and automation system faults. Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- System Upgrades: Assist with upgrading and retrofitting existing electrical and automation systems to improve performance and efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical and automation system configurations, maintenance activities, and repairs. Prepare and update technical documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct safety audits and training sessions as required.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to address electrical and automation needs and challenges.
- Emergency Response: Respond to and resolve emergency electrical and automation issues promptly to minimize production interruptions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: [X] years of experience in electrical systems and automation, with a strong understanding of PLCs and industrial control systems.
- Skills:
- Proficient in electrical wiring, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation systems, including PLC programming and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) configuration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Certifications: Relevant electrical and automation certifications (e.g., Journeyman Electrician License, PLC Programming Certification) preferred.
- Experience with specific automation software or hardware relevant to the industry.
- Familiarity with industrial robotics and advanced automation technologies.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Early shift
- 13th month salary
