We are seeking a skilled Cost Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our company to ensure financial health and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Counsel.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
-Collecting and analyzing data related to an organization’s costs.
- Preparing budget reports and financial forecasts
Skills
- Proficiency in financial software and accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of financial management and analysis.
- Understanding of debits, credits, account reconciliation, and SOX compliance.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices.
- Ability to conduct financial analysis efficiently.
- Excellent skills in account reconciliation and regulatory reporting.
