Job Description:
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
Benefits:
- Sourcing and evaluating attractive lines of product to meet market demand.
- Work closely with vendor on contract & promotion negotiation to secure the best competitive deals.
- To co-ordinate with internal department on inventory management, planning and forecasting.
- Communicate and work closely with line managers during planning and purchasing processes with potential supplier.
- Identify growth opportunity and risk in assortment and develop contingency plan.
- Creates and maintains professional relationships with vendors.
- Meets established goals for sales, margin, income and inventory levels.
- Ensure that pricing, promotional strategies, and marketing of the goods support the objectives of the merchandise division.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment while maintaining a professional disposition and demeanor at all times.
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Studies or any related discipline related fields.
- Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in the related field. However, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply (for junior position).
- Analytical skills, strong commercial acumen and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- High level of integrity/ probity, numeracy & IT Skills and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and strong in MS Excel.
- Good time management and work well under pressure.
- Preferably candidate from retail/ FMCG industry
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
