Accountant

Location: Tangkak, Johor
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts and monitor daily financial transactions.
- Oversee the company’s financial health, including cash flow, debtor days, outstanding balances, and short-term finance to ensure operational funding.
- Liaise with tax agents, auditors, bankers, company secretaries, and other statutory bodies.
- Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating across functions when needed.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of employees, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach, anticipating workload impacts and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
- Proficient in Excel and general computer skills.
- Knowledge of Auto-Count accounting system is a plus.
- Experience in audit firms is an added advantage.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications (MIA/ACCA/CPA is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Salary will be based on experience.
