2D Artist

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a versatile 2D Generalist Artist who is passionate about the games and entertainment industry. This is a full-time, on-site position. In this role, you will help bring our projects to life. Your responsibilities include creating various art assets, collaborating with our team, and contributing to the overall artistic vision of our projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop compelling Concept Designs for characters, environments, weapons, props, and other art assets.
  • Create stunning illustrations for various purposes, such as concept art, character design, and marketing materials.
  • Bring characters and objects to life through Animation techniques, including sprite animation and frame-by-frame animation.
  • Visually narrate stories through Storyboarding, outlining the sequence of events and camera angles.
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI/UX Design) for our projects.
  • Constant communication with the team to ensure cohesiveness and high standards.
  • A motivated self-starter with a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Qualifications:
  • Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Malaysia (Due to current limitations).
  • An impressive portfolio showcasing a strong artistic style, design sensibility, and a broad range of 2D art skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, and any equivalent software).
  • Strong foundation in 2D art fundamentals and the ability to adapt to various art styles and genres.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality art.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with the ability to give and receive feedback.
  • Proficiency with and passion for games and films.
Good-to-have:
  • 1-3+ years of relevant working experience as an artist in the games industry.
  • Experience with 3D and 3D modeling software (Blender, Maya, and any equivalent software).
  • Knowledge of game engines (Unity, or any equivalent platform).
  • Knowledge of programming (C#, C++, Java Script, or any equivalent programming language).
  • Traditional art skills.
