You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
Design and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirement.
Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and improving overall operational efficiency
Perform regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished products to identify and address quality issues
Act as the management level interface for customers for all quality matters and responsible for developing and maintaining customers and suppliers relationships
Collaborate with cross functional team
Manage escalation process with customers
Oversee the evaluation of process audits and finished product inspections for quality and reliability
Prepare departments budgets and forecasting as well as weekly, monthly and yearly key performance report and progress
Ensure effective quality training for all team members
Maintain plant compliance to IATF-16949:2019 and ISO:9001:2015 standards as well as customer defined quality systems and requirements
Here’s what you can bring to the team:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or Quality Management or related field
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification is preferred
At least 5 years of experience in quality management within the automotive industry, preferably in glass manufacturing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel
Experience in lean development and leadership
Proficiency in Quality Management (QM) software
Fluent in English. German and French are an asset
