Job Description As part of the Solutioning & engineering team, the Test Closed CI Loop Project Manager will be responsible to lead cross functional improvement projects that raise our Plastic Test Process performance and associated performance toward customer’s commitments. This role will drive improvement across all test areas, with the largest benefit of feeding the test results back to solutioning & design at the front end while providing our customer robust solution capable to absorb their evolving production environment. The Test Closed Loop CI Project manager will lead / execute some improvement activities and manage some others cross functionals ones. Responsibilities:
Lead Test Closed Loop Improvement
Lead root cause analysis of project with obstacle, summarize findings.
Engage stakeholder, leverage containment findings
Drive required deep review to understand true root cause & dominant improvement opportunity (inspection, design intent).
Lead required activities such a guideline improvement / control plan implementation / Charter definition (set of activities required to better understand the failure and potential solution)
Assess risk & impact of changes across the board.
Lead change deployment.
Analyze failure Interdependency.
Consolidate findings.
Transform complex issue on tangible improvement projects.
Analyze Test Results and implement proactive control plan.
Monitor key plastic part defect evolution (data management).
Monitor Key Test Performance KPIs.
Work with the global End 2 End teams on process alignment & improvement (Solutioning / Application / Engineering / Manufacturing /Test).
Implement & maintain required guidelines.
Improve current “Application Models & Processes” that interact with the Solutioning / Test Performances.
Develop new models & process that improve the E2E process performance
Centralize and prioritize all test closed loop improvement requirements
Collaborate with the enterprises leader to define & follow up improvement priorities.
Follow up on Test closed loop effectiveness at the E2E level ()
Share success & failure with the global test stakeholder
Perform update to the Senior Leadership team with regular interaction with our Executive team.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education (Master of Engineering degree preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within project/ product management, test or service.
Experience in Polymer transformation.
Interaction with test, service and Husky product range will be considered as an asset
Excellent communication & presentation skills (verbal, written and presentation)
Excellent organizational, self-starter, and driven to succeed.
Ability and comfortable in managing projects.
Strong change management skills
Ability to learn new concepts / approaches / technologies as projects require.
Good written and spoken command of English, additional languages such as German or French will be considered an asset.
Customer-focused mindset.
The ideal candidate possesses an engineering degree in plastics or equivalence gained thought experience
Good experience of injection molding technology, tools and machines is required.
Expert knowledge of Husky molds & machines matrix will be considered as an asset (product offering & design)
Capability to understand all application guidelines interdependency (PART geometry, mold & machine)
Proficient in Microsoft365, good knowledge of Microsoft applications, e.g. Excel, Share Point, power BI, power Query
Hands-on data collection and analysis skills, with a high attention to details
Considered as an asset
Good Analytical skills (knowledge and use of analytical tools and methods)
Power Bi / Business Object knowledge
Knowledge of Husky ERPs (Baan IV, LN) , tools (AX, SKC ) and processes
Experience in Data management, machine learning, virtual simulation or statistical analyses.
Knowledge in process capability & control plan (cmk, cpk…)
