In this role you will be responsible to develop, qualify and improve Inspection methods related to plastic parts (preforms, closures & medical parts) at Husky globally. You will set the standards of Plastic Inspection across all Husky sites and work with local inspection teams to implement and sustain the practices.
In this role you will be part of the Global Inspection Team within the Quality Organization. Responsibilities
Develop and qualify inspection methods using statistical quality tools (e.g. Gage R&R / MSE)
Interact with suppliers to test, develop and qualify new inspection equipment, technology scouting
Develop, update and maintain inspection templates and work instructions related to Plastic labs
Align and deploy inspection methods and associated control plans across all Husky Plastic labs
Develop new inspection methods related to steel surface finish
Interact with Operations, Design, Dev Eng, Project Engineering and Service team members to troubleshoot on parts issues and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses a technician and/or master degree in metrology
Good knowledge of Statistical Tools required (Gage R&R, Capability studies…), ideally Six Sigma Green Belt graduated or equivalent
Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic Programming
You have experience in inspection (visual, CMM)
Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, outlook)
We are seeking individuals with self-initiative, willingness to take responsibilities, attention to details and who enjoy teamwork
Project Management, Change Management & Facilitation skills, as well as persuasion and negotiation skills are a must
