Senior Accountant
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: KD300.000 - KD450.000 per month
Experience:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and documentation.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
- Oversee and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Handle reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of Kuwaiti tax laws and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred).
- Candidate must have a Transferrable Visa 18.
Pay: KD300.000 - KD450.000 per month
Experience:
- Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
