PPF Technician
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
As a PPF Installer you will be responsible for managing the installation process from start to finish, ensuring excellent results for our customers, as well as actively contributing to the growth and running of our Paint Protection Film Department.
You will be expected to work closely with other team members as well as working to the highest standards.
We work closely with international material suppliers, to ensure we have access to the latest products and technology, as well as partnering with other installers to ensure our team is constantly learning and developing.
Duties:
· 1-4 years of experience in PPF installation and car wrapping or related field
· Familiarity with computerized cutting systems (preferred)
· Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Basic knowledge of automotive paint and bodywork
· Ability to use specialized PPF installation and vinyl wrapping tools and equipment
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time
· Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Comfortable working in a variety of temperatures and conditions

- Inspect and prepare the vehicle’s paintwork prior to installation of PPF or vinyl wrapping
- Install PPF on the vehicle using precision cutting techniques and specialized tools
- Ensure that the PPF is free of bubbles, wrinkles, and other defects
- Cut and trim PPF around door handles, mirrors, and other obstacles
- Verify that the PPF is properly aligned and adhered to the vehicle’s paintwork
- Wrap the vehicle with vinyl using specialized tools and techniques
- Communicate effectively with customers and address any concerns they may have
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
