Department: Student Life Reports to: Director-Student Life Scope and Purpose: The Men’s Assistant Coach will assist the head coach in all areas of the men’s athletic program, including training, game strategy, recruiting, and player mentorship. This position helps ensure team success both on and off the field/court. Job Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and leading practices and games.
Provide tactical coaching and individual skill development.
Help with game day preparation and in-game adjustments.
Mentor athletes on academics and personal development.
Support recruiting and scouting efforts.
Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling and compliance.
Maintain communication with players, coaching staff, and university administration.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
2-3 years of coaching experience.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of the sport's rules and strategies.
CPR/First Aid certification (required or willing to obtain).
