About the Role:
As an Operations Manager for our chocolate production facility, you will oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficient operations, quality control, and adherence to food safety standards. You will be responsible for managing a team of production staff and coordinating with other departments to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:
Develop and implement efficient production schedules and workflows.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of production staff.
Motivate and inspire the team to achieve production goals.
Provide leadership and guidance to resolve production issues and challenges.
Quality Control:
Establish and implement quality control procedures and standards.
Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
Investigate and address quality issues promptly.
Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
Optimize inventory processes to minimize waste and costs.
Cost Control:
Develop and manage budgets for production operations.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce expenses.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in operations management within the food industry, preferably chocolate production.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
