Generator Mechanic
Role Description
As a Generator Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of generators on-site.

As a Generator Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of generators on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for, and ensures a safe and effective operation of generator systems
- Works with technicians as the test generators and the electrical components to detect faults, hazards and the need for adjustments and or replacement
- Assists with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on generators
- Works with the logistics department to ensure availability of service and repair parts
- Establishes a proactive maintenance program per manufacturer’s recommendations and Tech Exhibit specifications
- Analyzes equipment data and trends; along with team members input, formulates the maintenance program procedures
- Works to eliminate unscheduled outages and breakdowns
- Leads job and safety analysis meeting with team members on potential hazards and near-miss incidents
- Coordinates the installation, maintenance and repair of generators
- Prepares estimates of time, labor and material requirements for various projects
- Develops plans, prepares and execute schedules for preventative and routine maintenance
- Implements and monitors lock-out and tag-out procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as Generator Mechanic
- Ability to Inspects, troubleshoot and repair generators up to 30 KW
- A high school diploma or equivalent, diesel mechanic trade certificate is an advantage
- A valid host nation driver's license
- Good communication skills in English
- Flexible to work long hours
- Must hold commercial visa
