POSITION SUMMARY: As an Applications Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing application support in resolving and troubleshooting problems related to D365 F&O. Provide direct assistance to users in using and interpreting software tools and products. Provide and support recommendations for improved procedures and policies. Assist and support in achieving departmental goals and objectives. Be a team player working closely with other members of the IT department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing issues related to D365 F&O solutions specifically in areas related to Retail and POS. •Coordinate the configuration and customization of D365 F&O applications to align with business requirements. •Create, maintain and support the development of Dynamics 365 software enhancements for the organization, adhering to C# Best Practices. •Perform design and analysis tasks and functional specifications. •Contribute to the development of the processes and methodology. •Design & Develop customised reports (Power BI Report writing - within D365 context) based on the management request. •Stay updated with the latest Microsoft D365 updates and assist with system upgrades and maintenance tasks, as necessary. •Maintain the integrity, security and performance of the system through proactive monitoring and quick problem resolution •Perform regular application administrative maintenance tasks based on a preset schedule. •Provide training on Applications and Application Systems to our employees •Ongoing commitment to continuous professional development; completing relevant certifications promptly when necessary. •Assist Information systems manager where necessary, such as designing solutions according to business requirements or investigating issues uncovered during testing or training. •Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, development standards, and best practices •Carry out additional, reasonable duties as may occur from time to time as instructed by the Information systems Manager or members of Senior Management. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities •Knowledge of implementing/administering/customizing of D365 F&O. •Technical experience with D365 retail POS, Retail Server, CPOS & MPOS development.
Expertise in extensions, delegates, and Integration development.
•At least 2 years of Dynamics D365 configuration and development experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps.
•D365 CRM / Microsoft Fabric knowledge is a plus. •Strong communication, planning and organizational skills Education and Experience •Bachelor's year degree preferably in IT •Prefers to be certified in MS Dynamics 365 F&O, Power platforms, Azure SQL. •5+ years of relevant experience and a minimum 2 years’ experience in D365 F&O.
