We are hiring Cake Decorator
Job Description:
As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for designing, decorating, and creating aesthetically pleasing and visually appealing cakes for a variety of occasions. You will use your creativity and artistic skills to meet customer expectations and ensure high-quality presentation and taste.
Key Responsibilities:

• Cake Design & Decoration: Create customized cake designs based on customer specifications and special requests, ensuring the cakes are beautiful and unique.
• Baking & Preparation: Prepare cakes and other baked goods by following established recipes and ensuring consistency in taste and texture.
• Icing & Decoration Techniques: Apply icing, fondant, buttercream, and other decorations using various techniques such as piping, sculpting, and airbrushing.
• Quality Control: Ensure the highest standard of presentation, taste, and overall quality of the cakes, checking for imperfections and making corrections as needed.
• Customer Service: Communicate with customers to understand their requirements, make design suggestions, and provide updates on cake orders.
• Inventory & Supplies Management: Manage inventory of baking ingredients, tools, and decoration supplies, ensuring everything needed is on hand.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the bakery team to coordinate cake production schedules and ensure orders are completed on time.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cake decorator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cake decoration techniques, including fondant and buttercream work.
• Attention to detail and artistic skills for intricate cake designs.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and meet customer expectations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders at once.

Preferred:

• Certification or degree in pastry arts, baking, or a related field.
• Experience in a high-volume bakery setting.
