Accountant
- Record Keeping & Transactions:
- Maintain accurate financial records of the company’s financial transactions.
- Record journal entries, adjustments, and ensure proper classification of expenses, revenues, and assets.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including tracking due dates and ensuring timely payments.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement) in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely reporting of financial data and collaborate with management for decision-making.
- Internal Controls & Processes:
- Develop and enforce internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Review and update financial policies and procedures as necessary.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, inventory, and other financial accounts.
- Payroll Management:
- Manage payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursement, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations related to employee compensation.
- Recruitment
- Experience: 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and documentation.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present financial information clearly.
Pay: KD500.000 - KD600.000 per month
Experience:
- Accounting: 3 years (Required)
