We are seeking a Technical Vendor Manager to lead and manage relationships with our technical vendors, Increase operational efficiency, ensuring seamless integration of their products and services into our operations. In this role, you will oversee vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
What's the job?
Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with vendors through regular communication and collaboration. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and escalations.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize vendor relationships, streamline processes, and drive cost savings without compromising quality or service.
Performance Management: Monitoring and evaluating vendor performance. Set clear metrics & KPIs for service providers and clear standards for product suppliers.
Ensuring vendors offer scalable solutions that accommodate the company's growth and evolving technical requirements.
Identifying opportunities for cost reduction through vendor consolidation, renegotiation, or technical optimization.
Analyzing the cost-effectiveness of vendor-provided technology, including software licenses, cloud services, and maintenance contracts.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, correspondence, and performance evaluations. Generate reports and analytics to track vendor performance and identify trends.
Contract Management: Managing the workflows for the entire contract lifecycle
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including technical teams, procurement, legal, finance, and operations teams, to support vendor-related initiatives and projects.

Have you done this kind of stuff?
3+ years of proven experience in vendor management, procurement or related roles
Experience in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and evaluating supplier performance.
Analytical abilities to assess vendor performance, analyze contracts, and make data-driven decisions.
Problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise with vendors.
Ability to oversee multiple processes effectively, in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with vendors, internal stakeholders, and colleagues.
Not a must but a great advantage:
Familiarity and experience with vendor's lifecycle management systems – An advantage
Fin Ops (Financial Operations) management skills and knowledge – An advantage.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards related to vendor management – An advantage.
