Reports to: Production Planning & Control Manager

The Ink Plant Planner is responsible for E2E raw materials planning to meet customer demand while optimizing resources. This role involves coordination between production, procurement, logistics, and sales departments to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. The planner ensures that inventory levels are balanced with production schedules, reducing waste and minimizing downtime while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. What will you do?
Coordinate with production teams to ensure optimal equipment utilization.
Ensure raw materials and finished goods inventory levels are balanced with production needs.
Minimize excess inventory while avoiding stockouts.
Monitor material availability and trigger procurement actions when necessary.
Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
Coordinate the shipment of finished products to customers and warehouses.
Analyze production data to track performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Prepare reports on production efficiency, lead times, and inventory performance.
Requirements:
What should you have?
BSc industrial engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in a manufacturing or ink production environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems and production scheduling software.
Ability to analyze production data and identify trends.
Experience with planning tools and software (e.g. Oracle or other tools).
Strong ability to troubleshoot production and supply chain issues.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments
Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
