Modellama's is looking for a DB Engineer . The goal of a DB Engineer is to ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of the databases under their management, enabling the organization to effectively store, manage, and utilize its data.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and optimize database performance

2. Plan and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions

3. Take care of database security, including data encryption

4. Data base maintenance

5. Participate in database design and development projects that meet business requirements.

6. Share knowledge with the team

7. Support different departments on data preparation level

Requirements:
Required Qualifications

1. At least 5 years of experience with SQL server

2. At least 3 years of experience in query tunning, including monitoring solutions and analyzing execution plans

3. Working on application and infrastructure side

4. Solid T-SQL understanding: views, trigger, stored procedure, code optimization, Index’s.

5. Experience in building replicas, DR, backup’s, log shipping mechanisms

6. Optimizing and improving process

7. Experience in migration between SQL versations

8. Experience in working with SSIS, SSRS

9. Service-Oriented with excellent communication skills

10. Ability to work in non-standard hours
