Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Beer Sheva is currently seeking applicants for an Equipment Engineer. You will be responsible for writing specifications of equipment requirements, for its modernization, for the purchase of new equipment, for its installation and release, making improvements and changes to existing equipment.

Beer Sheva is the capital of the Negev, located in Southern Israel.
The factory in Beer Sheva was established in 1996 in the “Emek Sarah” industrial area and has over 1,000 employees. Vishay Resistors are embedded in various industries: Automotive, Telecom, Computers, Medical, Military, etc.

What you will be doing:
- To design and develop new equipment for various manufacturing processes.
- To maintain and repair existing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- To develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all equipment.
- To ensure equipment meets all safety standards and complies with regulations.
- To determine root cause of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- To collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment problems and develop solutions.
- To create and maintain equipment performance metrics and track progress over time.
What you will bring along:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment design and maintenance.
- Experience with CAD software and ability to read technical drawings.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in the electronics industry or multidisciplinary equipment manufacturing companies - a significant advantage.
- Theoretical knowledge and experience in equipment maintenance, good technical understanding of machines (equipment and process)
- Ability to manage tasks, set priorities while meeting deadlines, ability to coordinate and schedule, high interpersonal communication in a multi-team environment.
- Advanced English language level - mandatory
