Duties and Responsibilities:
· To maintain and operate the service warranty procedures in line with policies, working within the guidelines of the warranty manual provided by the manufacturer.
· To build & submit all warranty claims to the manufacturer within the guidelines
· To invoice all warranty jobs using the manufacturer’s standard repair operation times.
· To maintain the warranty sales ledger in line with the company’s debtor’s policy
· To set up and maintain an adequate filing system for the keeping of job cards, credit summaries, claim submission acknowledgements etc.
· To retain these documents in safe keeping and accessible in line with the manufacturers guidelines.
· To keep up to date with the latest product and technical bulletins that relate to changes in the manufacturers procedures and policies.
· When requested by the Manufacturer co-ordinate recalls, ensuring outstanding vehicles are pursued until conclusion. Providing regular feedback to the manufacturer on the vehicle recall status.
Requirements
· Experience as a Warranty Administrator in the motor industry is desirable.
· Excellent customer service skills, professional appearance and work ethic.
· Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Full drivers’ licence.
· Knowledge of CDK/Keyloop is an advantage as is good technical understanding of vehicles.
