We are hiring Utility Surveyors of all levels, from Trainees with no prior experience to Lead Surveyors to join them in Dublin. The Role: Operate advanced surveying equipment, including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), electromagnetic locators (Cat & Genny), and GPS, to accurately locate and mark underground utilities such as water pipes, gas lines, electrical cables, and telecommunication networks. Create precise and detailed maps of identified utilities, documenting their position, depth, and routes. Regularly update records with new or revised utility data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Gather geospatial data regarding utility locations using GPS and GIS technology for reporting and analysis. Analyze collected data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with existing utility records. Comply with safety standards and local regulations set by authorities, utility companies, and health and safety organizations. Communicate findings, potential risks, and identified hazards to project managers, designers, and relevant stakeholders. Conduct pre-excavation and ongoing site surveys to ensure utility locations remain accurate throughout the project. Identify risks associated with excavations near utility lines and provide guidance to the project team to minimize these risks. The Person: Interest in or prior experience with underground utility detection or land surveying. Possess a full, clean driver’s license (Irish, EU, or International).
