Skilled General Operative
We are currently seeking to recruit a Skilled Manufacturing Operative with experience in the sheet metal industry for an immediate start, to support various departments and carry out yard duties.
Full Time Position Available - Based in Cloverhill, Co .Cavan
This role comes with great opportunity to progress to other roles within the company.
Duties:
Pay: €10.50-€14.50 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:

Duties:
- Keeping the yard and store tidy and organised
- Experience operating heavy machinery a distinct advantage
- General mechanical manufacturing and physical assembly work
- Work to deadlines with the ability to maintain consistent high-quality work standards
- Ability to work as part of team and independently, assist others where needed
- Perform duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures
- Mechanical background an advantage but not essential
- Assisting metal fabricators in workshop
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
- Will be flexible and co-operative and work across any area of the business if required.
- Familiarity with CNC Press brakes / powder coating equipment / laser cutting machines an advantage
- Must be able to use a measuring tape ( be able to understand mm, m)
- In date safepass, manual handling required.
- Forklift experience desirable but not essential
- Must be enthusiastic and a team player
Pay: €10.50-€14.50 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Knockateery, Belturbet, CO. Cavan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Leaving Certificate (preferred)
- English (preferred)
- B driving licence (preferred)
- Manual handling certificate (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
