Senior Facility Engineer - Pharma

Job Title: Senior Facility Engineer
Job Overview:
The Senior Facility Engineer is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of buildings and facilities. The position involves coordinating with various teams and contractors to enhance facility performance, optimize energy use, and support sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the strategic and operational management of all buildings and facilities.
Ensure the efficient and effective operation of facilities while maintaining a safe environment for all occupants and operations.
Energy and Sustainability Management:
Monitor and analyse energy utilization across the site to promote resource efficiency.
Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with facility support contractors to ensure optimal performance of high-energy consumption assets, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), gas systems, lighting, and manufacturing utilities (compressors, N2).
Support and align with the company’s sustainability programs, focusing on energy efficiency and environmental impact.
Liaise with the Engineering Manager to forecast and monitor utility budgets.
Government Schemes and Compliance:
Identify and review opportunities for participating in government-supported schemes aimed at improving energy efficiency.
Collaborate with the site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team to provide necessary energy data and ensure compliance with corporate and local regulations.
Energy Reduction and Capital Projects:
Identify and propose opportunities for energy reduction initiatives.
Prepare business cases for capital expenditure (Cap Ex) to fund energy-saving projects.
Manage approved projects to achieve set milestones and ensure successful implementation.

Reliability Engineering:

Support reliability engineering programs by assessing and monitoring the performance of facility assets and systems.
Troubleshoot performance issues and determine future capital spend requirements based on asset assessments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in facility management, energy management, and sustainability practices.
Strong understanding of SLAs, budget management, and government energy efficiency programs.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contractors.
Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in project management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €65,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
