Senior clinical nurse manager
Senior nurse or Clinical Nurse Manager wanted for a unique and well-run Nursing Home located in Crosspatrick, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny.
Job Responsibilities:
The overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents.
Deputising for the Director of Nursing and Registered Provider.
Ensuring that set standards and legislative requirements for resident care are attained and exceeded.
Ensuring the development of a person-centred model of care which is driven by a respect for the rights of older people and are focused on quality-of-life measures meaningful to individual residents.
Leading and managing an enthusiastic team to work to their potential.
Ensuring the development of policies, programmes and evidence-based practice consistent with standards (HIQA) and standard policies within the nursing home.
Implementing and maintaining a schedule of audits and KPI's and ensuring quality improvement plans are actioned.
Qualifications / Requirement:
3 years post-registration experience
Excellent people skills
Thorough knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
Applicants from an experienced Senior Nurse, accepted for the nursing home. The option is available for flexible working hours , for part time or full-time working in a medium sized nursing home with an excellent support structure in place.
