We are currently has a need for a Sales Representative on a permanent basis in Limerick.
The Role:
Identify and target new business opportunities through proactive cold calling within the assigned territory.
Meet with potential clients to assess their business needs, particularly in areas such as waste management or similar services, and provide tailored quotations.
Achieve and exceed sales targets set for your region by effectively managing the sales pipeline and territory.
Create and execute detailed sales call plans, optimizing time and travel to ensure maximum coverage of your region.
Maintain and nurture strong business relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
Collaborate with the internal sales team and departments, such as Billing and Credit Control, to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new customers.
Provide management with regular reports on sales performance, revenue, and potential opportunities.
Contribute to the overall success of the sales team by sharing insights, strategies, and best practices to enhance customer service delivery.
Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals as defined by management.
Adhere to all company Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for employees and the public.
Engage actively in the Performance Management process to align personal and team goals.
The Person:
1-2 years of experience in commercial (B2B) sales, ideally in sectors such as waste management, recycling, or services.
Full, valid Irish driving license required.
Strong ability to collaborate within a team, working effectively with people across various levels in the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling sales presentations to business owners and decision-makers.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Power Point, and Word.
Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland.
