ELI Schools is a premier English language institution with three campuses across Ireland. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Developer to join our team in Japan. This role is focused on business-to-business (B2B) sales, working closely with education agencies and educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the education sector, with at least two years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis: Identify and evaluate potential markets, education agencies, and institutions that align with our programs and offerings.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with education agencies and institutions to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets and drive revenue growth.
Client Meetings & Presentations: Conduct meetings and presentations with potential and existing clients, showcasing our educational products and services.
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate terms and close deals with education agencies and institutions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
Reporting: Regularly update management on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market feedback.
Requirements:
Education Sector Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the education sector, ideally in a sales or business development role.
B2B Sales Experience: Proven track record in business-to-business sales, with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
Language Skills: English is required; knowledge of Japanese is a must.
Cultural Awareness: Understanding of the Japanese education market and its unique cultural and business practices.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel as needed within Japan for client meetings and events.
