BOOKKEEPER / ADMINISTRATION OFFICER Mar Val Power are an Established Solar PV installer based in Ireland, operating since 2018 we are going through rapid growth in line with the current energy market. We are looking for the right person to invest in, for someone who has good all round administration skills. Confident in their own ability, that can turn their hand to any task and who is looking for a long-term stable role. Excellent telephone manner and attention to detail are an absolute must. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail, with a proven track record in a small business with administration, bookkeeping and VAT. This is a hybrid based role with inbound/outbound calls, data entry, VAT and payroll. The working hours will be a fixed 3-5 days per week, to be agreed with the successful candidate. Salary Salary will be in the range of €30,000 - €35,000 per annum (pro rata for a 35 hour week) commensurate with qualifications, aptitude, and relevant experience. · Attractive Starting salary (commensurate with experience) · Pension Scheme · Maternity / Paternity leave · Flexible working · Upskilling · Further education support Key Responsibilities: · Produce customer documentation for the lifecycle of the project including handover certification. You should be highly organized and able to work well under pressure, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills · Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers, certified bodies and H&S consultants. · Exhibit a willingness to learn and readily absorb new information in a fast-paced environment Show excellent attention to detail in both administrative and book keeping tasks · Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure efficient procurement of materials · Possess strong IT skills and the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems · Thrive in a fast-paced work environment, embracing challenges and maintaining productivity · Be able to input accurate data into multiple locations – Excel, certification sites · Process and manage monthly payroll for approximately 6 employees · Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly reports · Manage accounts payable and receivable · Ability to prepare monthly management accounts, month end reports and financial reports and to implement and maintain credit control procedures · Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions · Prepare and submit monthly HMRC, Intrastat, CIS and VAT returns · Work closely with the Directors to identify areas for improvement · Customer focused, service orientated · Engage in adhoc projects that improve business functions such as MCS / ISO certification Job Type: Full-time Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year Work Location: In person Application deadline: 01/10/2024
