Logistics Scheduler/Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Scheduler/Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling delivery/installation of equipment, and optimising logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers.

Martin Food Equipment Ltd in Dundalk specialises in providing innovative catering and retail equipment. Our services include menu development, project design, staff training, and after-sales support to ensure success for over 6,000 customers for more than 25 years.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Scheduler/Coordinator at Martin Food Equipment Ltd in Dundalk. The Logistics Scheduler/Coordinator will be responsible for managing daily scheduling and coordination of food equipment logistics, ensuring timely delivery and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate delivery, installation, demonstration and scheduled cleaning of equipment
  • Manage inventory levels and optimise routes for efficiency whilst considering time/date requests from customers
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate logistics operations effectively
  • Track projects/orders with Area Sales Managers, and address any issues that may arise during transportation/installation
  • Analyse data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve logistics processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Previous experience in the food service industry (Desirable)
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Desirable)
