Housekeeping Assistant
Bunratty Manor Hotel is something truly unique: an authentic Irish, family-owned and run establishment that combines all the charm and comfort of a rural haven, with the elegant styling, bespoke service and attention-to-detail care of a boutique hotel and restaurant. Our boutique Hotel boasts 20 intimate rooms catering for both tourist and business cliental.
Reporting To: Housekeeping Supervisor & Management Team
Bunratty Manor Hotel is now accepting applications for the position of Accommodation Assistant. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness and service.
Due to the rural location of Bunratty Village and early morning start time of the shift, a successful candidate would need their own means of transport.
Responsibilities
· Clean and tidy guests room and public spaces to the appropriate hotel standards.
· Change Bed linens remove and replenish guests towels and amenities.
· Vacuum, clean, dust and polish surfaces in the hotel rooms and public areas.
· Provide housekeeping services and facilities to guests as required in a courteous and professional manner.
· Report any accident, damage or maintenance issues to the relevant department for prompt action.
· Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene as well as grooming
· Adhere to Health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and colleagues
· Ensure room safety and guest confidentiality
· Perform rotary cleaning and deep cleaning tasks as required by your department supervisor or manager
· Work effectively with the other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
· Uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence by consistently delivering exceptional service.
Requirements
· Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role within hospitality
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
· Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer focused attitude
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From €13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
