S&A Construction is a well-established construction company with 30 years of experience in civil fit-out projects. We are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards across our sites. We are looking for an experienced and diligent Health & Safety Consultant to work part-time, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safety throughout our projects.
Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures for construction sites.
Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify hazards and implement appropriate controls.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
Provide training and guidance to staff and contractors on health and safety best practices.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and report findings with recommendations for corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety management into project planning.
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and regulations to continuously improve the company’s safety standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Health & Safety Consultant in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, HSE, and other relevant safety standards.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to construction sites.
