We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our client team in Cavan, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments, develop Method Statements, and prepare Construction Stage Plans.
• Perform site audits and reporting to ensure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety legislation.
• Promote and enhance the Health & Safety culture within the company.
• Monitor site activities to ensure construction operations and subcontractors adhere to safety requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and review of project Health & Safety documents.
• Manage subcontractors and their Health & Safety paperwork, including performance appraisals.
• Maintain site records, report incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage and coordinate the Integrated Management Systems (IMS) including ISO45001, ISO14001 & ISO9001, and handle Safe T Cert Certification and yearly audits.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry in a Health & Safety role.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
