Arán Bakery & Bistro is an award-winning, artisan bakery and bistro based in Kilkenny. We are currently looking for a new team member to be part of our waiting team.

Responsibilities
- To assist with the overall running of the restaurant and deli
- Preparing and serving beverages such as drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea and other specialty drinks
- Answering customers’ questions about menu choices
- To ensure all food and drink is prepared to the highest standard and presented to the approved standard.
- To bring passion and vitality to the role ensuring all members and guests are looked after to the highest standard
- To ensure stock levels and systems are maintained to the correct standard.
- Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
- Take and serve customers orders
- Prepare set ups for tables
- Follow cash handling procedure
- Daily, weekly cleaning tasks
- must be available for day shifts or evening shifts
- previous experience as a barista, or waiting staff, or front of house
- must be available to work on weekends
- be energetic & friendly in disposition, possess strong interpersonal skills
- Passionate about the hospitality industry
- Ability to work within a team
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passion for all things food related.
- legally able to work in Ireland
Experience necessary.
