My client, a leading construction company with a strong reputation for excellence in formwork and reinforced concrete projects, is seeking a skilled Foreman/Project Manager for a site based in North County Kerry Position Overview:
As a Foreman/Project Manager you will play a crucial role for overseeing the successful execution of construction projects. This position focuses on managing all aspects of the construction site, ensuring that the project is completed safely, on time, and within the allocated budget. You will coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to project objectives.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of €55,000 to €65,000 per year, with a weekly pay frequency. This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Foreman or Project Manager, particularly with reinforced concrete works.
Valid Manual Handling & Safe Pass Certificates are required
Strong organizational and leadership abilities, capable of managing multiple aspects of construction projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction procedures, materials management, and site operations.
Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and plans.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
Valid driving license with the ability to commute to project sites in and around the north Kerry region
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
Manage and coordinate the activities of site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Order and oversee the delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Regularly communicate with the project team to provide progress updates and address any emerging issues.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, schedules, and reports.
Plan and schedule project milestones and deliverables effectively.
