Full-time on-site role for a Diesel Fitter/Mechanic at Brian Kelly Motors in Borris, Co Carlow, Ireland.
As a Diesel Fitter, your day-to-day tasks will involve vehicle maintenance, equipment maintenance, diesel mechanics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong skills in vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance
• Experience and knowledge in diesel mechanics
• Experience with 3.5 - 18 ton Truck and Diesel Engines preferred
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel truck engines
• Expertise in preventive maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair faults in diesel vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing.
• Conduct welding and fabrication tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter.
• Knowledge of diesel engines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Valid driving license.

Personal Attributes:

• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication skills with fluency in English.
• Ability to work under pressure.
