Full-time on-site role for a Diesel Fitter/Mechanic at Brian Kelly Motors in Borris, Co Carlow, Ireland.
As a Diesel Fitter, your day-to-day tasks will involve vehicle maintenance, equipment maintenance, diesel mechanics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have:

Strong skills in vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance
Experience and knowledge in diesel mechanics
Experience with 3.5 - 18 ton Truck and Diesel Engines preferred
Ability to diagnose and repair diesel truck engines
Expertise in preventive maintenance
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair faults in diesel vehicles
Perform routine maintenance and servicing.
Conduct welding and fabrication tasks.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Adhere to health and safety policies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter.
Knowledge of diesel engines.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Valid driving license.

Personal Attributes:

Strong work ethic and reliability.
Good communication skills with fluency in English.
Ability to work under pressure.
