DEPUTY RESTAURANT MANAGER (SEASONAL) | Circa €35,500 per annum This is a fixed-term contract until January 2025. You will be responsible for setting and maintaining high levels of guest care and being present throughout the delivery of each key event in the Food and Beverage seasonal calendar. You will support the Food and Beverage management team to ensure the smooth-running of events such as Brunch with Santa, Forest Fayre, Pantomime’s and Disco’s. Efficiency and effectiveness across all areas of the unit will be the order of the day. You’ll be supporting a brilliant management team to take on daily operational challenges by effectively monitoring and coaching people on all aspects of service. With your help, our team members and supervisors will always be in high spirits and prepared to be as helpful as possible to colleagues and guests. You will support with facilitating and developing a culture that promotes and encourages the general wellbeing, motivation, and morale of your team, whilst ensuring effective performance management strategies are in place and your team are actively contributing towards this. Generating a strong rapport with guests and maintaining the unit’s warm, easy, family atmosphere requires a Deputy Restaurant Manager who is personable and passionate about service so your supervisory experience in a busy bar, hotel or restaurant setting will certainly help. And although people will be at the top of your agenda, you should be confident with numbers and have great analytical and problem-solving skills all while spreading festive cheer. HOURS OF WORK Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday. Knowledge of managing third parties
Experience of stock management
Multi-site management experience
Experience of budgetary controls and profit and loss management
Previous experience or other Hospitality industry
